"This book is not for the faint of heart. It is going to challenge you on many levels and will force you to examine the way you make decisions. (Not something that people get inherently excited about)..." - T. Glenn Bush, MBA "This is the first financial book I have seen that addresses how we make decisions. So often we think we don't have control--focus on what we can't do--instead of realizing every small choice we make makes a real difference. In an economy out of our control, we need a book like this." - Kimberly L. Schimmel, MLS 'The Wealthy Family' is about money, but it’s really about so much more than that. It’s about making prudent decisions. It’s about doing things because they’re right and honorable, not because they’re easy. It’s about rising above the median. The central question is this: how can we optimize our financial lives while properly integrating other areas of our life? "For most people, the guilt of not growing is easier to bear than the anxiety of continual growth." - Unknown An average man's financial, career, and life decisions are anchored in his worldview. His worldview is molded from his own experiences, beliefs - and largely - the beliefs of his family and friends, or the majority at-large. That majority (and probably this man's family and friends) are excellent at achieving mediocre results - financially and otherwise. Hence, our average man proclaims that he wants to reach his full potential - to achieve success in whatever endeavor he seeks. Yet, he is destined to unknowingly make decisions that will lead to these average results. The truth is we all have a naturally narrow perspective. When we make decisions on this perspective alone we are most certainly depriving ourselves of 'what could have been.' This book will challenge you to think differently - to read, to learn, to grow, and to think beyond what you currently know and believe. It will teach you to separate yourself form the majority by looking at situations and options objectively, outside of a narrow perspective. If nothing more, it will challenge you certain beliefs and cause deep introspection - an outcome that is always worthwhile.

Impressive, Worth the Investment, Full of Sound Counsel
By Louisville Vicar
The most impressive thing Chandler's book is the way he patiently explains the importance of the thinking process in building wealth. The epiphany: The importance of a robust "Decision Making Process" (DMP, as he labels it) in making financial decisions both large and small. Most of us figure some of this out over time, but the way he crystallizes the details makes a clear and excellent paradigm for future decisions.
This book gives the most useful and spiritually worthy definition of wealth I've read so far: "significance, meaning and freedom." I especially enjoy his definition of what is usually called retirement as "a season of significance". Makes sense in every way.
This is about the wealth of relationships, with self, others, eternal values and meaning, and how money can be optimized to produce real, lasting wealth that transcends the generations of your family.
It also contains a poignant warning to prepare for the inevitable financial disaster due to the relentless deterioration of the value of money.
I'm recommending it to my children, grandchildren and students as counsel they must both read and heed.
Well worth the investment both of the price of the book and the time to read, reflect, and absorb its message.

We should all be in such a Family!
By D. Disheroon
This was a very interesting read, and my hat is off to Chase for putting such thought and effort into his latest work. As a disclaimer, I not only know Chase personally, but also completely sold on the concept of using Whole Life Insurance as a wealth management tool, so I was already totally aligned with his financial message. What surprised me, however, is how Chase expertly lays the foundation upon which the concept of Infinite Banking is built by teaching us how we think, and then using the power of deductive reasoning to debunk the myths that has so many of us trapped in broken financial systems, before moving into the concept of a Private Economic System (PES). When it dawns on you that each of us indeed has the power to create and manage our own economic system (instead of being a pawn in the Central banking System), a whole new world will be illuminated.
Chase does get a little heavy with the acronyms (and although I knew was strong on the FMS, it wasn't until I saw the FHN that I got my DMP tuned to identify a weak SoE throwing a wrench into my PES...Whew, glad I figured THAT out in time!! ;-), and many of the financial illustrations are hard to read. Also, the case study involving a major corporate client I felt was a bit of horn tooting on Chase's part since I didn't see how that directly applied to a Wealthy Family scenario. But these are minor issues with an overall very well done piece of work; and if you have the fortitude to read it in it's entirety, you will not only have a significant leg up on wealth management over the typical man in the street, but also understand more about yourself and how you function as a human being. The Wealth Family has earned a permanent spot on my shelf, and I hope it ends up on yours as well!

Definitely Worth A Read
By Jonathan D.
Chandler’s book is more than just a financial self-help book. It tackles mistaken ideas in the financial world and biases that affect how many of us make decisions. These ideas often lead people to make a mediocre plan with mediocre results. Chandler challenges the reader to look at the evidence critically and offers a framework and plan through which the individual can approach finances and wealth-building that offers far more potential.
He does a good job of explaining everything whether you have some financial knowledge or are just starting out. I appreciated how the evidence was laid out clearly, offering proof for what he said and making it clear for the reader as to how they could implement his strategies on a personal level.
I would highly recommend this book. It is both educational and practical and introduces the reader to ideas that they probably haven’t heard from many financial experts. Definitely worth a read.
