Should Be High School Required Reading

While I did not agree with all the author's recommendations, the underlying premise of the books (live within your means), is common sense advice long sense lost on recent generations drowning in debt. The author provides his own personal experiences as evidence of how impactful poor financial decisions can be on one's life years after the mistep. Teenagers and adults of any age would do well to read this book - even if only to be reminded of good financial planning and strategies to keep on the right path.

It would make an excellent high school or college graduation gift

This book provides a comprehensive and accessible overview of common (and persisting) financial obstacles facing young people today. The author combines practical advice with firsthand testimonial experience in an informative and entertaining way. I wish I'd read this book in my early twenties, or even sooner! It would make an excellent high school or college graduation gift.
