Learn from Their Mistakes

An easy, interesting read as the author takes you through his many years of living beyond his means & where it has left him financially at age 50. His determination to pay off his debt is encouraging, proving to others that it can be done. He's honest in taking full responsibility for his over-spending and lack of saving, for which I give him much credit. He provides the reader with ideas & tips that worked for him in his journey to pay off his debt.
I think this would make a good gift for both high school & college grads, as well as young newlyweds. If they can read about real-life over-spenders and their regrets, it just may keep them from going down this same road.

Money, money, money...

This book is so easy to read and has condensed a lot of the bulk of Dave Ramsey's debt advice. Lots of practical, real life strategies along with a healthy dose of honesty and self reflection. I appreciated the message and delivery, as well as the author's continuous guidance to the premise that no debt strategy will work if you don't believe and "buy" into it. He has motivated me to make some changes to my own financial situation...ones that I can live with and that make sense to me. Big nonfiction winner!!
